About the Community of Hopkins
Hopkins is an older, close-knit community located straight west of the South Minneapolis residential area. Known as the Raspberry Capital, the city hosts its popular Raspberry Festival each summer. Residents of Hopkins can choose from a variety of housing options, ranging from single-family homes and townhouses, to small and large apartment complexes. Many recreational options are easily accessible from the city; Lake Minnetonka is a short drive west, and Minneapolis' central lakes are a few minutes east.
